Bryan,
Rather than stripping from us what we are, trying times strip away chaff to reveal the tempered core inside. I'm not saying your tongue was chaff, but that all you have gone through has brought home to you what is important to you at your core..in your case, it seems to be your family relationship that are at your core. Were they before all this happened? Can you truly say that their safety, their welfare, their love, was valued in the core of yourself so much that you had nightmares of such force?

Thank you for publicly eviscerating this charlatan, quack, fake, whatever, for what he is. These bastards are dangerous and destroy people left and right. My aunt died of breast cancer solely following the advise of a nature healer/therapist/quack. Disgusting people.

I've been in delirious love with Tim Minchin ever since a friend directed me to his Canvas Bag anthem. Don't know any contemporary who's on so many precarious edges at once. Poor Storm must never have known what hit her. (And oh yeah, with the dr. thing...right on.)

All I can say is that you're right about the charlatan, and that most of us are pretty savvy now about such things on the interwebs. Not saying there aren't people who don't fall for fake cures and spend money and even their own health on them. But as for this style of just responding to people's blogs? If you're internet-hip at all, you got this and know just what to do with it. Ohai spam.

I was wondering if you were ever going to return to your blog since you seem to have hit your stride with Twitter. I hope to read longer more complex series of thoughts here from a fellow cancer survivor. Best of luck with your test results and all. Dig deep and write from the heart.

Hey Bryan,

I'm glad you are writing on your blog again. Sometimes I make myself think of you when I am feeling down and how hard you work, and how funny you are, and how I'm really glad I got to know you and sherry more. Then--after I have this thought I feel a little happier. I'm so glad to know you. I love your attitude and i really want to read any and everything that you are working whenever you feel like sharing. I will be thinking of you on Sept. 3rd friend.
love and farts,
Dana!
